Busy Week

This week is bound to be crazy I'm working nights until Monday, so not sure how many posts I'll get up this week. I'm trying to get things rounded around for two upcoming shoots. One bridal shoot and one family shoot. I'm super excited. But, I'll leav you with a picture of Evan, Karley and Brodie and the park. My sister and I got the kids all, dressed up and loaded up in the van, we then unloaded and took them out....then the rain started coming, haha. This is my favorite one from the whole 10 minutes we were there.

Autumn

I could feel the chill in the air today. It's almost like it smelled different. Today for the first time I was got chills. I would just like to say i'm thrilled, I love summer, hello I live in the south, but I love autmn because it's in between. I LOVE the in-between. Headed to the beach tomorrow to enjoy the last bit of summer.

Abbie turns 1!

Little Abbie is just the cutest thing isn't she?! She is the perfect blend of her mom and dad in my opinion. This little girl was constantly on the move. Trying to get her to stay still had me in fits of giggles. I had the most fun on this shoot, we started at 9 but it shortly turned hot. Her mom and dad were troopers and stuck it out.

Brodie Calen

Brodie Calen Hickson is the newest addition to my family. I will do anything to get this kid to smile. I love this series of pics mainly because of him, but his eyes are INSANE in these pictures. I feel like if you get somebody's eyes this pretty in a picture you get the essence of them. I love the clarity of them. Me and Brodie sweated our hinny's off for these pictures and I just prayed they would turn out. I think they meet my expectations and above. LOVE this little boy.

My monkey....Evan

This kid is getting soo grown up, this kid cracks me up! He takes forever to get a picture of most times, he makes the goofiest faces EVER, he totally gets it from his dad. In other post I will have to include pictures for proof. But, I digress back to the point of this post, one day, this one time, the very first picture I took of Evan is good. No, prodding from the momma, or bribes from me the aunt.

Getting engaged is one of the most exciting times in a person's life (or so I've been told hehe.) Happy. Joyous. Fun. These are things I think of when I think of engagements, that's why I've decided to give a free engagement session to one lucky couple or two at THE SC STATE FAIR!!! Corn dogs, Funnel cakes, cotton candy, the merry-go-round, the swings, the huge slides, the fair is chalk full of fun! This is something I've been dying to do for a while, so here it is! I just love the excitement and love in these pictures, they just make me smile everytime I see them. Love these kids and I'm just blessed to be an aunt to the precious ones

Wow, this is weird

My first foray into the blogging comes out of sheer boredom on a sick day. I'm so inspired by the blogs of a lot of different photographers I thought it was time I put some of my work out there. I hope you guys will join me on this journey of blogging. This first picture is one of me about one year ago maybe more, idk.... but i think this is me in a nutshell.
